Radio is an instrument for mass consumption; a signal dictates people. In this installation, the traffic light acts as a literal signal to the radio. Whenever the radio broadcasts content that is unaligned with the signal’s agenda, it gets snubbed. Eventually, the radio ends up being electrocuted and hijacked entirely by the signal - particularly illustrated through the shift in colors.

The underlying concerns in this body of work primarily lie in identifying institutional authority and critiquing the power structures that inhabit it.
